The college prepares students to Bachelor, Master and PhD studies at Austrian public universities. Over 400 degree programmes are offered by Austrian universities.

Life @ St.Stephen’s
e have an incredible social scene here in Vienna at St. Stephen’s College. There is a loads going on within the College and the city of Vienna: numerous students clubs and societies to choose from, excellent extra-curricular activities, over 100 sporting clubs and opportunities to get involved at any level.
Study hard, Play hard.
The College is about trying things a student has never had a chance to do before. Students can do almost anything at almost any level, from ‘having a go’ to semi-pro. The extra-curricular activities may even provide a springboard for future careers.
My favourite thing about being a student at St. Stephen’s is that there’s just too much going on. You can get involved in theatre, sports, debates – there really is something for everyone. You’ve got to have your finger in many pies.
Our students take advantage of Austria’s beautiful cities, peaceful countryside, and varied seasons. They get out into the mountains, through the forests, and to the lakes and rivers. Our central location gives us easy access to other major European cities and cultures, which broaden students’ horizons.

During the school year we provide students with the opportunity to experience winter and summer adventures during our project weeks. Our students can be found skiing, snowboarding, ice-skating, snowshoeing, swimming, bicycling, windsurfing, sailing. We also arrange work experience and internships, as well as organising sightseeing and cultural trips beyond Vienna and Austria.
Sport & Recreation
The sports scene in Vienna is huge. Whether you want to improve your health, try a new activity, become a match official, or train for competitions we can help you to achieve your goals.
There are more than 100 sporting clubs to choose from. Just about every sport you can think of is catered for, including team games, water sports, martial arts, racket sports and extreme sports. Many clubs have taster sessions at the beginning of the year so you can find out more.
St. Stephen’s is a modern and unique college, which actively uses the virtual reality in its educational process. It is a productive enhancement to human interaction, bringing together students from around the globe to engage and interact — regardless of social, economic or geographic disparities. Excursions and Field Trips
At St. Stephen’s Vienna, we give students the opportunity to lead and organise a wide variety of events. We give the tribute to the culture and the history of Vienna, paying special attention to the secular, spiritual and cultural education of our students.
We encourage multi-cultural atmosphere and are proud to have strong links with US, Europe, Africa, Middle-East and Asia. We organise fun trips around the country, get students acquainted with Austrian culture and traditions. At St. Stephen’s students learn from each other, polish their language skills and make lifelong friends.
Balls, Gala and Festivals
The ball season in Vienna offers over 2000 hours of dancing. Each year more than 450 balls take place in Vienna. The city of waltzes exuberantly celebrates Carnival in January and February. The three-quarter rhythm is supplemented by more contemporary sounds, offering enjoyable dancing for every taste.
In Vienna, the ball season reaches its peak in January and February. The old tradition of carnival balls continues to thrive in the city. While some dancers enjoy following the three-quarter time of the waltzes, others may prefer letting loose to a disco beat.
Cafes, Clubs and Bars
Vienna is known for its delicious and famous cuisine – there are more than 100 before you even start to count the dozens of University bars! There are also hundreds of clubs offering the various music nights you would expect, as well as cheap entry and offers for students. There is a great selection of places to eat too. Something for any mood, palate, occasion and price range. Better still, your student card gets you discounts and special deals at numerous restaurants and cafés.
Vienna is a huge center for European shopping, numerous shopping centres and luxury shopping streets, most high street names are represented, as well as many independent shops and boutiques.
The daily market the most famous and most luxurious food market in the country, which sells everything from jewellery and vintage clothes to bread and fruit; and at the weekend there are also farmers’ and arts and crafts markets. In addition, in the vibrant and eclectic range of shops, cafés and restaurants you can find just about anything from just about anywhere in the world and to suit any budget!
